Firstly the hotel is located in a cute neighborhood. We felt safe no matter what time at night we came in. The beds are comfortable and there are two enclosed gardens to spend time in. The staff are very accommodating and kind. John gave great recommendations and made you feel.like he was a long time friend. I would 100% stay here again. It felt like you were in a home not a commercial hotel.”

Our group was very impressed with The Poppy. We had a large group and Nico made booking very easy for us, even when we had to make changes to our rooms. The guesthouse was very inviting and the staff was wonderful. We loved the food and drinks that was available. That made it very easy for our big group to grab a quick bite and not have to make plans to eat breakfast or a snack. The rooms were very nice and quite. The gardens and outdoor seating area were such a nice communal gathering space for our group. We were even able to speak with the other guests who were lovely. This guesthouse deserves more than 5 stars! And you can't beat the location!”
